Mohammad Hashemnezhad received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering from Shahed University, Tehran, Iran, in 2021. He completed his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering at Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran, in 2024, under the supervision of Prof. Mohsen Parsa Moghaddam, with a thesis on “Multi-agent reinforcement learning optimal energy management of a local energy community.” From 2022 to 2024, he was a research assistant and coordinator in the Energy Management Lab at Tarbiat Modares University. Until July 2024, Mohammad worked as a Power System Engineer at Clean Energy Company, Iran’s first and largest retail energy provider. His primary research interests include smart grids, energy management, distributed energy resources, and artificial intelligence. He currently works for Sustainable Power System Lab of Cyprus Universty of Technology. His main area of research is control of power systems.
